Bill Waugh - Head Coach

Bill grew up in upstate New York. He began rowing during his first year at Georgia Tech, in 1991. The following year he transferred to Tennessee, where he rowed for UT Crew from 1992 to 1995, also serving as the team's President. Upon graduation, Bill coached the juniors of the Knoxville Rowing Association from 1996-2003, while also coaching UT Crew from 1998-2004, as well as 2008. In 2008, Bill moved to Kansas, where he coached the Topeka Rowing Association juniors from 2011-2014. His return to Knoxville marks his return to UT Crew, where he will again be coaching starting in the Fall of 2015. Bill works for Pilot Flying J, where he writes software.
